More of What Change Looks Like

It’s Monday, March 16, 2009. Here’s what we’re looking at:

The Obama Administration will no longer refer to detainees as “enemy combatants” - a tactic used by the Bush Administration to hold prisoners for long periods of time without trial.

This news comes at the same time as a newly-leaked Red Cross report which found the CIA was using torture.

You’ll be getting emails from the Obama folks again! According to a Democratic official, Obama will ask people who volunteered for his presidential campaign to go door-to-door to gather signatures from neighbors to support his budget.

Finally, Dr. Christina Romer - head of the President’s Council of Economic Advisors - and House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-VA) discuss the changing economic outlook of the United States on Meet the Press.
